Description
The PCE moisture analyser balances use infrared heaters to dry
the sample in conjuction with a precision balance to measure the
minute changes in weight as the sample dries. The software built
into the system provides for many different drying programmes
and calculates various parameters for humidity and dry mass. A
typical drying procedure involves choosing a drying temperature,
a time interval - for example 100 degrees for 5 minutes - and a
mode - % solids.

The analyser balances are used for moisture and dryness
measurement for a wide range of materi- als as powders, wooden
pellets, food, plastic granulates, sludge, sugar, salt, ceramics
